Prevention to Avoid Problems


Today we wanted to take the opportunity to speak with our patients and friends about the importance of a good oral hygiene routine. At Dr. Dodds' office we want the very best for you and that of course includes being concerned with your health. We want you to keep your natural smile and be happy with it. Many people don't realize that good oral health is connected to overall well-being. Having healthy clean teeth makes you look and feel better. Here are a few tips for having and keeping healthy teeth:

Many people don't realize that good oral health is connected to overall well-being. Having healthy clean teeth makes you look and feel better. Here are a few tips for having and keeping healthy teeth.

  • Have a good routine, use a soft brush and fluoride toothpaste to brush your teeth and tongue twice a day and floss to remove bacteria from under the gums at least once a day.

  • Visit Dr. Dodds regularly for x-rays and a checkup. This will help you to avoid problems before they appear.

  • Have a good diet of healthy food and drink. Try to avoid snacking on sugary foods and soda, for your body and your teeth!

We always love to see you at the office; but we hope to see you for happy routine visits instead of having to fix a problem.
